Cokin graduated filter

I’ve bought some new stuff for my camera. Let me present you for the Cokin Colour filters! I haven’t tried them out yet with the analogue camera, but I have tried them on my digital camera. I must admit it looked ridiculously stupid with the digital camera, since I had to use a huge amount of tape since the lenses are not the same size. Anyways, here they are:

They are very easy to use. You have to use the grey thing and get the right size for the lens you are planning to use. My lens is a zuiko 50 mm and I have the size 49 mm on the filterfast thingy. The filters I’ve bought are the graduated cokin filters.

Here is the pink filter, Cokin A. 671
The yellow one, Cokin A. 661

Here, I’ve used my digital camera to take a photo with the filters. I’m not sure if it’s any resemblance with how it’s going to turn out with the real thing, but at least you get the idea. It’s also normal to use the lenses when you’re shooting black and white photos, because if the sky is really light, you could use the pink one to get a darker sky. I’ve tried this out with a friends camera so unfortunately I don’t have the pics but I’ll try take some myself with my digital camera.

Here’s some pictures I’ve shot with the digital camera:
